Born in turn 423 at High Reaches Hold, Anwyn seemed destined to become a very reluctant Harper. Upon discovering her vocal talent when she was thirteen, the Hold's Harper had her sent to the Hall to be instructed how to use her voice properly. The problem was, she had no intention of being /made/ to sing anything, especially not in front of a great number of people. Sent home two turns later, she was Searched for a Hatching at High Reaches Weyr and Impressed gold Rosalith at the age of fifteen turns. Formerly a withdrawn and quiet young girl, the pairing gradually turned her into a forthright speaker and a political force to be reckoned with. Sent to resettle Telgar in 447, it was no secret that she hoped, of the two queens sent, that Rosalith would rise first and become Senior Queen. She did not, and whilst Anwyn seemed to settle after that, the accident that befell the pair in Turn 3 of the Pass only served to transform her back into a difficult personality to deal with. Six months into recovery and they were transferred to Benden, with little protest from the distracted weyrwoman.
